Signal-Trim Thoracic Knit

The skin is the largest sensory organ in the human body. It is also the most ignored when selecting clothing. Every fabric you wear sends a continuous signal to the somatosensory cortex. Most fabrics send a bad one. The scratch of synthetic jersey against the sternum. The low-grade thermal complaint of a fabric that cannot manage its own moisture. The body registers these as threat — small, persistent, subclinical. Cortisol accumulates. You do not know why you are irritable by midday. The fabric knows. This knit resolves the dispute. The body of the garment is a 75% merino wool / 20% silk / 5% cashmere blend — a composition that the nervous system experiences as neutral. Merino's fibre diameter is engineered below the itch threshold (under 18.5 microns). The silk fraction reduces surface friction. The cashmere fraction increases loft — the yarn traps a micro-layer of air against the skin, regulating temperature without the heat build-up that triggers thermal stress responses. The moisture-wicking mechanism is physiological, not chemical. Merino wool absorbs up to 30% of its own weight in moisture vapour before it feels damp — drawing perspiration away from the skin surface and releasing it into the air. In summer, this prevents the cycle of damp, cool, clammy, irritable that synthetic fabrics accelerate. The body maintains a stable thermal environment. The nervous system does not need to issue a complaint. The highlighter yellow contrast trim at the waist is a signal. Not decoration. The body requires clear spatial anchors — proprioceptive cues that locate the physical self within its environment. The trim provides a visual boundary. The waist is confirmed. You are located. The glow-in-the-dark SOME DOSE sigil on the chest operates on the same principle as the cranial variant: vital energy, externalised. Solar-charged. Released after dark. It is a private marker for the cognoscenti and a low-lumen reminder that the body continues to function after the building empties. This is not a summer garment in the seasonal sense. It is a summer garment in the neurological sense: a thoracic layer that refuses to make the heat worse, refuses to irritate the surface it covers, and refuses to be noticed until it is removed.
Null-Signal Elbow Jersey

The nervous system is poor at ignoring continuous low-grade input. A scratchy seam at the nape, a polyester thread at the armhole, a satin care-label rubbing the spine — none of these register as pain, which is precisely the problem. They register as background vexation, and the body files them under chronic sympathetic arousal. Cortisol accumulates. You do not know why you are tense by midday. Your shirt knows. This jersey resolves it. The fabric is 95% combed ring-spun cotton, 5% elastane. Combed, not carded — the combing removes the short fibre ends that prickle. Ring-spun, not open-end — the yarn is denser, smoother, and less likely to abrade the body over twelve hours. The 5% elastane is core-spun: a filament of elastane wrapped in cotton, so the surface against skin remains cotton throughout. The garment stretches with the arm, recovers without resistance, and stays fitted without compressing the rib cage or transmitting tension to the body underneath. Every seam that touches skin uses cotton thread in the bobbin. Every hem is finished with a twin-needle stretch stitch — flat against the wrist and the hip, not ridged, not banded. The neck binding is cut from the body fabric on the cross-grain, folded once, serged into the neckline, and topstitched flat. There is no satin label. No woven trim. No rib cuff. No edge against the nape. The brand mark is stamped directly into the binding interior with soft-hand fabric paint, heat-set at the elastane limit. It washes. It does not lift. The neon topstitch — acid green, at the body hem, the sleeve hems, and the neck binding — is visible only from outside. It sits on the face of the fabric. The bobbin side (the skin side) is cotton thread in a matched neutral. The neon is engineering made visible, not decoration made brave. The sleeves terminate 2–3 cm above the elbow crease. With the arm flexed to 90°, the hem clears the joint by 4–5 cm. The elbow is the most articulated joint on the upper body. Most sleeve hems choose not to acknowledge this. The glow-in-the-dark rubber patch at the heart is the one signal this garment intentionally sends. Upper-left chest, heart position — 16 cm below the shoulder seam, 9 cm left of centre. Solar-charged under daylight. Released after dark. The hand finds it without looking. The gesture is the one the body is already inclined to make. Pull. Settle. Forget.

The Chino cotton absorbs the shock of direct sun without the theatre of mirrored lenses. The metal buckle adjusts in silence — no plastic slip, no apology. The embossed sigil on the crown is a rubber compound that holds solar charge and releases it after dark. Vital energy, externalised. It is not decoration. It is a low-lumen signal to the cognoscenti and a quiet torch for the daily transit home. We are not vampires. We simply do not enjoy being interviewed by weather.

Carpal Tension Wristlet

The wrist is not decorative real estate. It contains a dense cluster of mechanoreceptors — Meissner's corpuscles, Pacinian corpuscles, Ruffini endings — proprioceptive nerve tissue that continuously relays pressure and positional data to the somatosensory cortex. The two 2mm elastic paracords apply a low, consistent compressive load across the carpal region, activating these receptors, dampening the amygdala's threat-monitoring signal, and attenuating sympathetic nervous system arousal. The signal is quiet. The effect is not. The toggle is the intervention point. Tighten it: increased proprioceptive feedback, greater somatosensory grounding, cortisol blunted at the source. Loosen it: passive wear, low stimulus, background presence. The user calibrates their own afferent input in real time — a manual override for the body's alarm system, operated with two fingers and a plastic toggle.
