- What is dopamine dressing and does it work?
- Dopamine dressing is the practice of wearing clothes that provoke a measurable mood response — typically through colour, texture, or silhouette. The evidence suggests it works, not because clothing rewires the brain, but because intentional dressing is a low-effort act of agency in a high-effort day. ERIS operationalises this: one consultation, one prescribed silhouette, no deliberation.
