[ DIAGNOSTIC ]

The prescription, explained.

What is this?
Apparel is the SOME DOSE generalist category — specimens that span multiple body regions or address cross-region conditions. This includes base layers, transitional pieces, and multi-zone prescriptions where isolating a single anatomical zone is clinically insufficient.
Who is it for?
Prescribed for new patients who have not yet completed an Intake, or for those whose Intake result returns a multi-region prognosis. Also for patients building their first full prescription from scratch who need a foundation layer before adding region-specific specimens.
What does it cost?
Apparel specimens are priced from €80 to €280, EUR, VAT included. Made-to-order specimens ship within three to four weeks. In-stock specimens ship from Ireland within two business days.
How does it work?
Commence Intake at /intake to determine the correct region-specific prescription before selecting Apparel. If the Intake prognosis returns a multi-region result, Apparel is the prescribed first layer. Full garment measurements, fiber specifications, and layering notes are listed per specimen in the Dispensary.

[ FAQ ]

Common questions.

What is the Apparel category?
Apparel is SOME DOSE's generalist category — specimens that do not map to a single anatomical region. Where Cranial, Cervical, Carpal, Thoracic, Lumbar, Digital, and Tarsal each address a specific body zone, Apparel addresses the full-body or cross-region case. A garment worn from shoulder to mid-thigh, for instance, spans thoracic, lumbar, and pelvic zones simultaneously — it belongs in Apparel rather than any single region category.
Who should choose Apparel first?
Patients whose Intake quiz returns a multi-region prognosis, or those who have not yet completed an Intake and cannot identify a primary zone of Itch. Apparel is also the correct starting point for anyone replacing an everyday garment — a T-shirt, a dress, a base layer — rather than adding a specialist layer on top of existing clothing.
What materials are used in Apparel specimens?
Apparel specimens use Merino jersey, organic cotton, and structured cotton-linen blends depending on weight and season. The priority is non-irritating full-body contact across a large skin area. Fiber composition, fabric weight in grams per square metre, and care instructions are listed per specimen.
